Hi there and thanks for taking a look at this site.
My name is Chuck Arlund, I like to go by Chuckie. Seriously! I am a professional photographer. I shoot fashion and musicians as well as a few weddings and portraits. I also love to teach and share. I have a no BS attitude about the biz of photography or the shooting.
My teaching focus is primarily on lighting, Photoshop retouching and working with people. I also believe that fear is a key factor in keeping us from achieving everything we can. IF you have a chance I strongly recomend you read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
I have been shooting professionally since 1997. I have been shooting for fun and still do almost every day since 1978. It is a wonderful thing to be able to MAKE photos.
And that is what I want to be able to do is teach you how to make a photo. To understand light and your camera so that it becomes an extension of yourself. When you don’t have to think about it anymore and you can focus solely on your subject without the interference of the technical.
